The Union of Biobanks of Ukraine (UAB), founded in 2017, aims to develop the Ukrainian biobank network for the benefit of patients, researchers, industry and the economy. Started in 2013 with two biobanks of the Institutes of Medical Sciences, it now includes biobanks in major Ukrainian medical institutes.
